G4 Civils is a Black Empowerment Civil Engineering Construction company based in Gauteng. Since inception in 1999, G4 Civils has established itself as a major role player in the South African Civil Construction Sector.
Our spectrum of work ranges from Road Construction, Bulk Earthworks, Land Rehabilitation, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Services (i.e./storm water, sewer, and water reticulation) and Routine Road Maintenance Projects. These projects are mainly based throughout Gauteng, Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga.

At G4 Civils, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our personnel. As from 1 April 2009 we have employed a Safety Manager, to oversee our Safety Management Program.
This will provide us to continue with mentor ship of safety officers, ongoing training for our employees and internal safety audits. They work hand-in-hand with senior management to ensure the highest level of safety compliance. All our employees will receive annual training in subjects ranging from Aids Awareness, Life Skills, Basic Risk Identification to First Aid.
We believe a safe site is a productive site.
G4 Civils places priority importance on maintaining quality assurance systems in order to maintain our competitive edge, satisfy regulatory requirements, and meet continuously rising customer expectations.
Our quality control plan is based on ISO 9001/2000 principles specifications and working procedures from SABS 1200, Colto, Cement & Concrete Institute and TRH / TMH testing methods.
As a construction company, G4 Civils realises that each of our projects have a huge impact on the environment, and we fully accept the responsibility placed on us to protect our environment.
We therefore fully support and implement the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for each of our projects, thus providing projects that conform to Internationally-accepted environmental norms and standards.
G4 Civils regards Black Economic Empowerment as a business imperative. The following principles form part
of the day-to-day running of our contracts:
1. In-house and accredited external training of all our workers
2. Employment of labourers from local communities
3. Employment and training of local BEE subcontractors
4. Supporting local BEE suppliers
5. Job creation for women
6. We believe that the local communities should benefit from all projects in their areas and we extend our social responsibility programme to these communities.
Since submission of our first Employment Equity Plan in 2000, we have consistently focused on the education and training of our employees. Our current EE plan is aimed at the employment of disabled personnel and training of black females.
